Thursday, Dec. 28 (2 days til we leave for China!!)

Can't believe we're this close . . . FINALLY! I also can't believe that my last post was over 3 mos. ago--ok, maybe I can given that we've been running around like crazy trying to keep up w/ the girls' schedules, get ready for the BIG TRIP, prepare for our time away from the girls, get ready for the holidays--we weren't even sure we'd be in the States for Christmas til we got a call 2 weeks ago w/ our travel dates--prepare for a job change for Tom (oh, yeah, this came as an unexpected surprise w/in the last month; he was offered a job at the VA @ Loyola, a position that would allow him to teach psych residents which would offer him a much needed change of pace from all of his clinical hours).

Having a hard time focusing right now. Hmm, could it be that it's 11:15pm and I should be in bed?! We are soooooooooooo glad to be almost on our way to pick up our 3rd daughter, Danielle Hope. We can't wait to bring her home. Stay tuned (I promise I'll try to make these blogs more interesting next time when I have some more rest--ok, maybe that will never happen . . . )
